Welcome to Mythocreatures!

History

A long time ago, creatures called dinosaurs walked the earth. Some were the ones that now hang in human museums, but others had fairy wings, unicorn horns, fins and gills. They were called Mythocreatures. Soon there were so many Mythocreatures, they split into five catagories: Earth, Air, Water, Fire and Space. Each elected a certain type of Mythocreature to be their leader. The leader had to be kind, caring, strong and have magic. Earth had Unifurves, Water had Turbows, Air had Raintons, Fire had Fire dragons, and Space had Firelites. Soon each leader predicted that a meteor was going to come and wipe out all life. The leaders warned their clans and the Mythocreatures went into hiding. Each leader could feel the tremors as the Dinosaurs were wiped out. A few decades later, the Mythocreatures came out to find a new species, "Mammals". Mythocreatures got along with these strange creatures and they lived in harmony with each other. Fast forward a few thousand years, humans evolved. They lived ok with Mythocreatures, hunting them when they got too close. The fire type even gave the gift of fire to humans. But soon humans got too greedy. They began hunting Mythocreatures for sport, mainly the leaders. Humans were jealous of the Leaders magic. The leaders had to do something. One night of a full moon, When their magic was at its peak, the leaders met. They decided to use their magic to erased the knowledge of Mythocreatures from humans and make themselves invisible. That night they enacted their plan. Humans went to bed dreaming about magic, woke up not knowing about it. But even that was not enough. Mythocreatures still had to watch humans destroying their home. Finally, the Mythocreatures couldn't take it anymore. The leaders of each category, (besides space since they were not affected) came together and created a portal to a barren island and divided it up between them. They lived in peace, with the leaders hiding the planet, so the humans wouldn't find them and make them move again.
